This one's an oldie.
I studied abroad in Oxford and loved it, but Brits are a little bit too focused when drinking their beers. At 5 PM, the entire country lifts from their seats, ambles down to their local pubs and starts putting back pints while talking politely and staring at stone walls.
My now fiancé (and at the time will-they or won't-they "friend") decided to throw an American House Party to teach our British friends how to drink in the very dangerous American style known as "chugging" and "beer pong".
The coppers eventually broke up our party, but I will say Oxford cops were delightful (in that instance and the two times my bike got stolen). They merely advised us that our "party is gettin' dodgy and we'd better gett'n to the local club". We were buzzin'.
